The abstract for this published work:

The necessary infrastructural and societal changes required to address the flood risks associated with sea

engagement with issues of sea level rise is imperative. While there is a growing body of knowledge related
to sea level rise communication, research that specifically addresses public art’s role in this function
remains scarce. In this article, we describe a pilot research project aimed at building understanding of how
public art installations may contribute to engagement with local issues of sea level rise.
